Does the Davenport have a continental breakfast?
Our first time eating here and it was tasty! They accommodated all of my fiance's food allergies and were very understanding. The Creme Brulee was AWESOME and theaatmosphere was very relaxed. Our 8 mo old daughter and 14 yr old son enjoyed it as well! We definitely plan on dining here many more times! Everything is good
MoreMy wife was getting a massage, so I decided to kill a few hours here, and I'm definitely glad I did! There were several tempting options on the menu, including trout with strawberry rhubarb relish, which combines three of the best parts about growing up in Spokane! But I decided to stick with my original plan and order the prime rib French dip. I was not disappointed. The sourdough roll was crispy on the outside, but perfectly soft inside. The prime rib was cooked medium rare like I asked for, and it was served with au jus and a horseradish sauce. The whole thing was delicious and perfectly portioned. There were way more shoestring french fries than I could eat, but they were delicious too. I was pacing myself, so I sipped coffee and let the first part of the meal settle, before ordering the warm apple crisp. This thing was huge and topped with a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream...I recommend sharing this one if you have the option!
MoreIt was our 22nd wedding anniversary and they arranged to have roses at the table. The service was amazing as well as the ambiance. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
MoreWe had a fabulous dinner! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We always enjoy going to the Palm Court!
MoreVery expensive, small portions, not great service. My husbands filet was very good, but so tiny. I got the crab alfredo fettuccine, the crab was very fresh and excellent, the alfredo sauce was nothing special. The first table we sat at in the bar area, a waiter didn't come for a long time, we asked to move out to the area where the architecture is, the service was better, not 5 star for sure!
MoreSo good. Worth every penny. Best in Spokane.
I visited the Grill on my way to the spa at the Davenport. Beautiful relaxing atmosphere by the large fire. Service was prompt. The waitress kept an eye on our table and was very attentive. I ordered the appetizer of coconut prawns. The garnish salad of fruit and lettuce with a light dressing was as beautifully paired as the prawns and marmalade! Delicious! Perfect start to a relaxing day at the spa.
MoreWe went there for Father's Day brunch and it was outstanding!! Pricey but worth it. Large variety of food...carving stations, salad and fruit bar, all kinds of breakfast foods, cheese/bread/cracker boards, some unusual and yummy small bite foods, large dessert bar. They even had two huge chocolate fountains and a s'mores bar!! My husband really enjoyed it!
MoreThree of us went today for lunch. One ordered French onion soup, very good, one ordered a chicken salad, good as well. I ordered an 18 dollar burger that was as bad as any burger I have ever eaten. Tomatoes were mushy, lettuce, wilted... and the meat was tasteless... Last visit...
MoreService was excellent along with food. I liked they did not rush our food. They would have if we had asked. But last night we wanted to enjoy the atmosphere and our food. It's expensive but worth it.
MoreIn recently, top notch setting as always, had a group of 8 people and was just over 500 with the tip. This was pretty much as expected for this place. Food was great, I recommend. Be sure to ask one of the employees about the will you marry me bit carved in the wood upstairs, pretty cool. Highly recommen
MoreTheir food and atmosphere is fantastic! The waiters are nice and attentive. There's good vegetarian options, including some really good Cougar Gold Cheese dip. This place made my 1st year Anniversary super nice.
MoreStayed at historic Davenport hotel and had breakfast there. Outstanding service and food good variety highly recommend crab omelet and the coffee cake. Grabbed it to go very tasty! We stopped in the lobby bar at the Palm Court Grill for a drink and appetizer. The bar has lots of seating options and is less noisy that most bars at happy hour. The prosecco was nice and bubbly and the prawntini was (as always) delicious. All drinks are 1/2 price at happy hour! Staff was friendly.
MoreJust had the most wonderful evening, celebrating my brother and sister-in-law's 25th wedding anniversary. Our meal at The Palm Court Grill was absolutely delicious. Mary was our server, and was amazing. The atmosphere was relaxing and most enjoyable. Thank you!
MoreMy wife and I stayed at the Historic Davenport while on a weekend out. One morning we went down to the museum and did the Titanic artifact tour. That evening we decided to try the 5-course Titanic meal at the Palm Court Grill. We had a good time and the food was great. I've never really ventured out much into this genre of food so some of it was new to me. The atmosphere was lovely: fireplace burning, open and beautiful architecture, low-volume despite being somewhat busy (not sure if it's just the acoustics of the dining area). Our waitress was excellent and even talked a little about the interesting tidbits regarding the Titanic meal making it that much more enjoyable. I have no complaints about the food, service or atmosphere and would not hesitate to eat here again.
MoreShared a wonderful appetizer, main and dessert with the one I love. We ordered the crab cake (pictured below) for our appetizer. It was delicious but what was really unexpected was how tasty the fruit was underneath it, the most delicious fruit I've ever tasted without a doubt. Next we shared the Chicken Fettuccine, which was also great. Lastly, we shared creme brulee for dessert (also pictured below). If I could make one change, I would ask for more berries with my creme brulee. Other than that it was a fantastic experience, gorgeous view and a wonderful waitress.
MoreWanted a date night to remember and started at the Palm Court Grill. It took over 10 minutes to get a server to take our drink order, another 10 minutes to get our beer. Then he never stopped ti ask if we wanted anything. We wanted an appetizer with our drink and were very disappointed. We let management know, just the standard " we were busy" reply. No, they really weren't.
MoreVery disappointed!! I made reservations in advance for a table of four. My girlfriend and I arrived with my daughter and her niece on time and was told they were waiting to seat people for twenty mins to give the kitchen time to catch up. So I thought okay that is fine. We had time to wait. We were in Spokane to see the Nutcracker Ballet at the Fox. We walked upstairs and looked at the trees, wandered the gift shop. Went back to be seated and they still were not seating people and did not know when they would resume. I felt very disrespected and not worthy. I made a reservation and they treated me as though I had just walked in from the street! A wonderful day planned, turned upside down!! I don’t plan on returning anytime soon.
MoreWe had a great dinner next to the fireplace. Service was very good.
I loved my waitress, Jessica. She provided fast, friendly, knowledgeable service. I have uncommon allergies and Jessica took the time to not only learn what I'm allergic to but to also find out if any of the dishes I was interested would cause me problems. She did it all with out acting like I was an inconvenience. Normally when I inquire about ingredients in dishes waiters( and waitresses) give me odd looks and just assume I'm picky. Jessica didn't I look forward to my next trip to the Historic because of her amazing service. She also makes an amazing Black Opal.
MoreOutstanding place for Bar food. dropped in on mon i think. i will be back with my relatives. the place has an awesome atmosphere. this place has good reviews for a reason.
MoreLove love love eating here! Not only is there great food and service, but they have a relationship with STCU. If you have an STCU passport credit card, you get buy one get one free entre! Or 30% I believe off your bill if on your own. Cant beat that!Last time I was there you also get free valet (you should tip good!) With dinner receipt over like $50 I think.
MoreWe went for small plates and drinks. We sat in the foyer with the big chairs in front of the fireplace to enjoy the setting of this hotel, it really is a beautiful place. My son got their ice cream sundae and enjoyed it, my wife got their peanut brittle martini which she enjoyed very much and I got their French Onion Soup. This is at least the 3rd time visiting and I always get the FO soup, it's that good. I'd highly recommend stopping in while in downtown.
MorePretty good food but a bit overpriced. Steak was cooked to perfection and the service was great. We had a rather large group but everyones order came out on time. I'd highly recommend coming here for happy hour to get more reasonable prices. Would definitely eat again the next time I stay at the Davenport.
MoreGreat food and drinks, attentive, knowledgeable wait staff. Comfortable, low key atmosphere.
MoreHorrible service felt like they were looking down on us no hostess to seat us waitress very rude when we just sat down ordered our food she comes back tells me I need to pick somethjng else because they were out supposedly a nice high end restaraunt maybe they should treat everone the same!
MoreHuge omelet with social distancing. Seat yourself. Perfect meal!
I wish I could rate it 10 stars!!! Our waitress, Mama Mary, was superb!!! The food was phenomenal!!! We got the trio appetizer and the cougar gold cheese dip is the stuff dreams are made of. I got the filet so I could save room for dessert... the filet was cooked perfectly and incredibly tender. The peppercorn sauce was so good I wanted to smuggle it home in jars. And then, there was apple crisp. The most wonderful apple crisp I have ever had...even better than grandma makes. (sorry grandma) You won't regret your visit here, and be sure to ask for Mama Mary to be your waitress!!!
MoreOne thing that absolutely stands out about this salad is that it is not served "ICY COLD" and I was so pleased that just enjoyed myself and didn't ask, but expect that it may have been warmed by the hot lamps for a spell before bringing it to the table. My measure of a great salad is the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point, where I've, on occasion, had the best salads freshly picked from the garden outside of the kitchen.
MoreSo what's supposed to be a date night with my wife we went to the Palm court for a drink an appetizer after waiting 10 minutes to order a beer and another 15 minutes to get it we never saw our server again and when I went up to pay for my bill I was told sorry we're busy! We never got a appetizer like we'd intended and we left with the idea that will never go back there again. Although the table full of women never seem to have a problem getting service??
MoreThe food is great but the service is horrible! Could it be racism? Not sure but tired of being mistreated & spoken down to by the staff. The manager himself has terrible communication skills& that leaves me with an awful experience yet again. I don't recommend ordering anything that you want done your way because they might try it once but then refuse to try again along with a stern scolding! My Father died years ago, who the hell does this man think he is? I am disgusted.
MoreOur server did a really great job with such a large group. He was able to take care of everyone and we were all over the place. The large amount of appetizers were really tasty. The shrimp was huge! Love me some big little shrimps y'all. The cheese dip, the steak bites, the crab it was all really delicious. I ordered the louie salad for myself and was very please, especially with the portioning. For such great food, it was an awesome way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
MoreExcellent service, delicious food. The"Titanic" five course meal was fantastic.
Our daughter was in town and we wanted to take her some place special for lunch. We have been to the Palm Grill in the Davenport Hotel before and could think of no place better that we would like to take her. Whether it is a casual date or a family event- at anytime of the year- the Palm Garden is a wonderful place to go. The service is outstanding and the menu choices are many and all mouth watering... Whatever you order you will not be disappointed...
MorePalm Court is a beautiful restaurant set in the lobby of the Historic Davenport Hotel. We were drawn to the hotel because of its ability to prep gluten free food safely with numerous options. We had breakfast and lunch at the Grill during our stay and the food was delicious and gluten free. Highly recommend.
MoreAnother one of our favorites in spokane. Nice ambiance, great service and great food.Open for most Holidays too.
MoreI love going to the Davenport because I know I will be treated with respect and a friendly smile. It is a beautiful and historic place. I had my wedding reception at the Davenport many years ago. The food is always amazing. I love going here with my husband. This place will always hold a special place in my heart

MoreReally only reviewing my Bloody Mary / Bloody Mary bar. First let me say the lady that makes the drinks is called Bloody Mary Teri! She lives up to her namesake that's for sure. Excellent bloody Mary with lots of vodka options and extras all for only 10 bucks!
MoreService and food were just ok, nothing special, little overpriced in opinion.
A diamond in the rough. This place transports you back to when it was a bustling new hotel. It is impeccably well taken care of. They have done a beautiful job on renovations and the service and for is top notch. The peanut brittle martini is a must have!
MoreGreat atmosphere and service. Quiet enough to still be romantic.
We had an early Christmas day dinner and the food was amazing. There were 13 people in our party and the Server was friendly, polite, and efficient. The perfect Christmas experience.
MoreCourtney helped us tonight and did. A great job she had a great attitude and was vary nice to our son the food was amazing and the drinks were great as always cant wait to come back
MoreWe went for Inlander Restaurant Week for their prix fixe menu and it was delicious! The ambiance is so elegant and beautiful. The food was delicious. The service was outstanding. It was a real treat. We will go back.
MoreLoved the historical building, great service and excellent prime rib that i was able to get rare. Classy place.
MoreGreat food and great service! Love the atmosphere here.
Very nice place, always, but they need to improve their transitions. We were told it’d be a 20 minute wait to order lunch but we could sit, and if we wanted breakfast we had two minutes to look over, decide and order. So we waited for lunch and after 45 minutes of water and coffee our waitress was “given the go ahead” to take our order. Very nice waitress but they need to either be completely clear that due to their transitioning it is going to be 40-60 minutes to order, or figure out a way to transition better to keep customers coming back.
